Delicious! I do think this is a step up to boiling crab because of the bigger menu, their incredible sauce and spices, service, and quickness.
Everything was so good especially the Stinkin Combo Boil! Wow 10/10.
The oysters were so fresh and huge. I also got to try their fries and wings for appetizer and they were solid.
Tip: their happy hour got great deals!
Tip #2: ask about their secret menu ๐
I love that it's a sports bar but still family friendly! Very casual and the service was amazing!
Hope to be back again soon when I'm back in the Long Beach area!
Tried the gumbo and boil. Everything tasted amazing! Great music and atmosphere too. Had to go back the next day.
On our way to King's we stopped at Big Catch Seafood House! Everything we tasted was incredibly delicious, leaving us craving for more. The flavors were fresh and tantalizing, and the mahi mahi was a standout with its amazing taste and perfectly cooked texture. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel like honored guests. From start to finish, our dining experience was filled with delightful flavors and exceptional service. If you're a seafood lover seeking a memorable culinary adventure, Big Catch Seafood House is an absolute must-try.
Not the best Cajun shrimp I've ever had but still, really solid. Service and presentation were good. This is the first place I've been to where they don't serve you your seafood in a giant plastic bag (Big Catch's other location in Ontario does the plastic bag thing); instead it came looking so good on a metal tray.
The Lobster Roll was skimpier on the meat compared to other places I've had it at and also a little on the dry side because it was overcooked, so that was disappointing. The Cajun Dirty Fried Rice was solid. They also have an awesome and pretty large Happy Hour menu, so extra points to them.
The ambiance and dress code is casual. It was quiet when we came in for dinner (Happy Hour). I think we were one of two tables at that time. The restaurant isn't that big but it can accommodate larger parties.
I liked that on top of the usual bib that you get, they also gave us plastic gloves to eat. Then at the end, we got warm, wet towels to wipe our hands with. It was fun experience, definitely recommend it as a Cajun option.
Had lunch here on Sunday and was not disappointed. Our server (didnโt get his name) was outstanding! We ordered 1/2 dozen oysters, a few drinks, the Family Special, and also the Mimosa Set Up: 1 bottle of champagne and choice of OJ or Guava juice for only $18!!! The Family Special had 1 lobster, shrimps, crawfish, snow crab legs, mussels, clams, potatoes, sausages, and corn for just $150. So worth it! We will definitely be coming back here!!!
Check out their Happy Hour and Weekend Brunch specials. So worth it!!!
I really wanted to like this place, but it was underwhelming. Maybe it was because we went there earlier than the crowd, around 230 pm, but everything that we ordered was just okay. The oysters tasted very fishy, and the family boil that we ordered was alright also. Maybe I'll try again. The waitress was nice, but was the only one for the entire store.
This is a very good place for seafood i love the vibe in this place the food was sooo delicious we got the ๐ฆ crawfish and shrimp with mussels and corn ๐ฝ it was so good the flavor was on point like i just wanted more lol but yeah totally worth it everyone was nice there and they got a bathroom and what i liked it gets messy they give you a plastic bib and plastic gloves when you eat you dont get messy and also have good beer ๐บ choices so im definitely coming back ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐
Our visit yesterday was fire. I wanted cajun fries so bad the whole day so we stopped in. The server with the brown hair and sweater yesterday mustโve read my mind because she had my cajun fries seasoned extra well just as I had asked for. The mussels we got were big and fresh and the service was good, friendly, and fast. Wish I had gotten the name of our server because she was super sweet. Thanks for satisfying my craving.
